Electives & Clubs

Electives create opportunities to explore interests and discover new talents. Whitefield offers a range of rotating options each semester so students can take a variety of classes.

The purpose of electives at Whitefield Academy is to complement our core curriculum classes as valued and crucial components of the classical education experience, providing opportunities for students to explore areas of interest with excellence.

Each semester, students have the opportunity to take three electives in areas of interest. Blue and Green electives are held twice per week for 65 minutes, while the Plaid elective is held daily Monday through Thursday for 35 minutes. On Friday, instead of an elective class, students will meet with their house and house deans, providing opportunity for community, mentorship, and leadership.
