School Leadership

Mr. Metcalf has been a member of the Whitefield community for 12 years. Before moving into administration, he taught Classical Greek and Humanities. He has a B.A. in Humanities from the University of Kansas and a Masters of Divinity with a concentration in Hebrew from Southwestern Baptist Theological in North Carolina.  He and his wife Katie have three children at Whitefield.

We embrace a wholistic vision of education that seeks to form the entire person, intellectually, socially, and morally, as a knowing, believing, relating, feeling, doing, loving and worshipping being created in the image of God.

In his 13th year at Whitefield, Mr. Chace has a B.S. in Education from Kansas State University. He taught in the Shawnee Mission School district and also many years at Whitefield in 4th grade, Pre-Algebra, Progym, and Spanish.  He and his wife Keely are the proud parents of two Whitefield graduates.

We are a community working together to rediscover classical liberal arts education, leading us on a different path than both the local public and Christian schools in town.

Mrs. Theiss has a B.S. in Secondary Education from Kansas State University and a Masters in Special Education from the University of Kansas. After teaching in the public schools for five years, she has been with Whitefield for 13 years teaching in both Kindergarten and Upper School. She and her husband Matt have three daughters at Whitefield.

I love the community of people we have here.  I am grateful to work with so many amazing believers, many of whom know, love, and pour into my own children.  I am honored to walk beside Whitefield students through their academic careers.
