Whitefield's History

Whitefield Academy began in 1995 by a group of families looking to educate their children with an emphasis on developing critical thinking and communication skills, taught from a Christian worldview.

Our founders were dedicated to the proposition that an understanding of who God is and who we are in relation to Him is the foundation of all knowledge. Over the past thirty years, the Lord has faithfully guided our school and Whitefield Academy has grown to become Kansas City's leading classical Christian school, serving students in Kinder Prep through 12th grade across the metro area.
